I’ve been a bit quiet of late, and if we’re being truthful, it’s because I’ve had no joy in writing. I’m a firm believer in doing what you love and loving what you do and whilst I find Bullet Journaling a key step in my life, I just wasn’t enjoying it. My work life was the busiest it’s ever been, my home life had taken a rather sad backseat because work had drained the life out of me and then with the unexpected passing of my Grandad, I didn’t want to do anything. It’s a juggling act and I can honestly say, I dropped all the balls.
Really, this blog post is all about how I’m with you! I’m with you when you’ve got no motivation to get out of bed let alone write a to-do list. I’m with you when you haven’t looked at your planner/bullet journal in over 5 days and you feel fine about it. I’m you when you’ve lost your mojo and you’re trying to figure out if you even want to find it. I’m WITH YOU because the struggle is real and that is fine!
For me, I’m trying to move onwards and upwards! I’ve started to try and figure out what brings me joy in the planning world, how I can try and get work/life balance and most importantly, how I can make time for me. Until I’m back to normal scheduling here’s a sneak peak at some bullet journaling styles I’m trying.
This is a cheap A5 staple bound grid notebook, I’ve been a little inspired by Julia Smith (a.k.a plannerjules on Instagram) – her no fuss and simple style appealed to me and made a little spark come on in my head. I’m trying out templates to see how much I love it.. it needs a little tweaking here and there but so far, I like it!
