What’s Inside My Bag | Stationery Edition

Time and time again I’ve mentioned how I’m nosey and love to see inside people’s planners, look at their handwriting, find out about their planning habits and everything in between! So it’ll come as no surprise to you that I love a good ‘what’s inside my bag’ video on YouTube!  They’re fun and you get to see that you’re not the only person that carrys a dozen different lip balms and pens!

As part of my sharing is caring attitude, if thought I’d brave it and tip my bag out.. But with a twist! Here it is, here’s what I have inside my bag.. Stationery edition!

Jack Wills Shoulder Bag

I love this bag. It’s big enough to fit a whole bunch in, looks smart enough work for causal enough for my everyday and it’s lasted me for what feels like a lifetime!

It’s very dark blue at the top and a burnt orange at the bottom. If I’d have known how much I would have loved this bag, I’d have got two! I’m not even kidding.. I’m a hoarder.

I rarely use the shoulder strap as I prefer to keep my bag close to me, but I do use it on the occasions that I stuff it full and can’t fit my arm through the loop!

Moving swiftly on, here is everything my bag contains! (Please note my cats contribution to this shot in the bottom left corner. I though it was hilarious so didn’t bother taking another.. At least it’s realistic!)

(Top left to right: Nuuna Notebook Bullet Journal, My Little Paris Bag, Tangle Teezer, Stray Homeless Hair Grip, Lush Key Lim Pie Lip Balm, Muji Black Pen, Bulldog Clip, Jack Wills Purse, Chic Sparrow Field Notes Creme Brûlée Deluxe Traveler’s Notebook, Copic Pen, Apple Headphones, Jack Wills Coin Purse, Karen Miller Glasses & Pebble Portable Charger)

I have my bullet journal with me at all times. It’s like a part of my brain so it’s just natural to keep it in my bag. I have my Papelote pen band around my Nuuna notebook as it keeps my pens and paper clips all together!

I have a drawstring bag full of my beauty bits a bobs like hand cream, moisturiser, deodorant, my travelo with my perfume in, pain relief, medicinal sachets and tissue! All stuffed into that rather grim looking bag!

That’s followed by my Tangle Teezer hairbrush, a stray hair grip, an amazing smelling key lime pie lip balm by Lush, a Muji pen and a bulldog clip. If I’m honest, I have no idea what that clip is doing in my bag or even how it got on there but apparently by handbag is its new home!

Next up is my purse which again is Jack Wills. This is an obvious one so I’m not going to patronise you!

I’ve then got my beautiful Chic Sparrow Field Notes sized Creme Brulee Deluxe traveler’s notebook (what a mouthful!). I house an A6 (maybe?! maybe smaller!) Leuchtturm1917 dot grid notebook then a contacts insert, and two field notes grid inserts. They’re just my go to scrap paper and rough note papers. The contacts insert is there as a backup in case my phone does and I need to call someone who’s number I don’t know.

My Apple headphones and coin purse (surprise surprise  Jack Wills) are thrown in my bag for good measure, followed by my glasses and my Pebble portable phone charger. This phone charger gives me 3 full charges on my iPhone and has been a lifesaver on many of an occasion!

And that’s it. That’s my bag.. Bar a few food wrappers and scrappy tissues! It’s defiantly got a stationary theme but I’m glad I’ve managed to keep it fairly minimal.

I hope you enjoyed this blog, please do let me know what you thought and also let me know what else you’d like to see!

See you soon!
